There are certain areas of science that can become hugely interesting for a small number of people, while other areas get all the attention but are discarded relatively quickly the moment something more interesting hits the media. Well, science can't really compete with stories on what the latest hot celebrity had for breakfast, but it can provide a little thought provoking "brain" fodder for anyone who wants to rise above the thirst for celebrity gossip!
This blog has been created as just one such provider of knowledge and the stuff of higher interest. There is a reasonably good chance it won't be able to compete for the huge reader numbers that a super celeb latest outfit primer might attract, but I'm sure there will be a reader or two that might be interested enough to want to stop by every now and then.
